KINDERGARTEN SECTION

The kindergarten Section with the children of 4 to 5 plus years on its rolls provides maternal care and a sound educational influence, so essential during this stage to acquaint the child with a language that he/she is going to adopt as a medium of expression in higher classes. More stress is laid on 'Oral Work' to sharpen the memory of the child and correct his pronunciation. A little writing work is also done to provide stability and control in the movement of hands. The students are properly and carefully guided by the trained teachers to learn mixing with others, share their things and accept the discipline as a part of life. They are also made conversant with Table-manners during the 'Lunch Period'. Education during this stage is mostly provided through play way method with the help of Toys, Models, Play equipments. Flash Cards and other audio-visual aids and through interesting, varied and stimulating activities. The Children are given full opportunities to unfold their talents and potentialities in creative self- expression. Primary Section (upto Class V)

Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation

From L.K.G. to class X, the scheme of Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), that is, a school based evaluation system has been implemented as per the recommendations and directions of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It envisages that every learner should be evaluated over the entire period of learning schedule rather than one-shot three-hour external examination. According to this system, assessment will be indicated in terms of grades only & there will be equal emphasis on scholastic & co-scholastic achievements.

Senior Secondary Section (XI & XII)

In Senior Secondary Classes, each students has to study one Language and any four Elective subjects. In science and commerce, following subject- combinations are available:

Medical Group

Compulsory : English (Core),Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Optional : Physical Education/ Computer Science

Non-Medical

Compulsory : English (Core), Physics, Chemistry, Maths
Optional : Physical Education/ Computer Science

Commerce

Compulsory : English (Core), Business Studies, Accountancy, Maths/Economics
Optional : Physical Education

Work Experience (Hobby classes)

Work experience is part of educational programme. It helps children get closer to the community and make them conscious of their social commitment and develops in them respect for manual work and a desire to contribute their best for the common good. A student can opt for any one of the prescribed activities provided under Work Experience

Eligibility to Appear in the Exams
  1. Students of all classes are required to attend at least 75% of the total lectures delivered in each subject, inclusive of additional, optional subject and practical classes.
  2. Students will have to clear all school dues before appearing for exams.
  3. The final authority for sending admission forms for the Board Examination will be the Principal.
  4. If any student remains absent during any of the examination, he/she will not be permitted to take re-exam. Progress Report & Promotion A report about the performance of the student is communicated to the parents at the end of each term through Progress Report Card. These reports contain the performance of the student in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas. In addition to the Summative Exams the student also take four Formative Assessment Tests during the year. The student has to secure at least Grade "D" in each subject separately for promotion to higher class.
